The world of RAGE 2 is home to vast open-world to several locations, ranging from the civilized town of Gunbarrel to the numerous Bandit-controlled regions of the Wasteland, such as the Dune Sea. Some are home to human settlements, whereas others hold more inhuman creatures.
Summary[]
Along the way through this open-world experience, you will enter specific regions that have a wide-variety of landscape terrain each with it's own look and feel. Within each region you will visit different biomes, find resurfaced Ark's that have abilities or unique weapons and play minigames if you wanna race or kill for fun.

- The town of Gunbarrel, first mentioned in the original RAGE.
- Vineland, Walker's home prior to the arrival of the Authority.

- The Dune Sea, an area of the Wasteland controlled by the Immortal Shrouded bandit clan.
- The Eden Space Center, a facility that's been overtaken by the Goons.
Miscellaneous[]
- The Crack, a vast chasm located in the middle of the desert.
- Wetlands, a swamp location.
