The Pulse Shot is an ammunition type featured in RAGE. It is used with the Combat Shotgun and Double Barrel Shotgun[1]. It can be bought from vendors, and also found in a few locations in the Wasteland.
These rounds are apparently large shotgun rounds created with the addition of Feltrite, as the slugs have an extra EMP effect. This makes it especially useful against the Authority forces and their Mobile Generators, as well as Sentry Bots and Sentry Turrets, and for breaking electrical boxes.
The pulse slugs are effective at any range, following a precise trajectory. This makes these shots very useful at long range as no other shotgun ammo has comparable range and accuracy.

- The Authority Shield Guards use them, but no other enemy in RAGE will use these against Nicholas Raine.
