Mel is a minor character featured in RAGE. She is a resident of Subway Town and issues the races at the Subway Town Speedway. She can often be heard on Subway Town's broadcast announcing new races opening, enticing new drivers, and offering specials.

Nothing is known of Mel's early life. She is a resident of Subway Town and works as the racing announcer for the speedway, also signing up contestants for the races.
Events of RAGE[]
In 2135, when Nicholas Raine arrives in Subway Town, Mel can be found behind the desk near the entrance to the speedway. She will offer to sign Raine up for a race, offering him racing certificates in return for any victories.
Following the "Assault the Authority Bridge" quest, she will tell Raine that the speedway has been closed down due to what the Authority refers to as a security breach.
