Background[]
Nothing is known of Krug's early life. He is a resident of Subway Town and works for Redstone as one of his guards.
Events of RAGE[]
In 2135, when Nicholas Raine first arrives in Subway Town, Krug can be found blocking the entrance to the Fez bar, refusing Nicholas entry until he meets with Redstone. After Raine is given the all-clear to remain in the settlement, Krug steps aside and watches over the bar.
Later, when the Authority occupies the settlement, Krug can often be heard expressing his hatred for the Authority and their Enforcers.

- Krug and Gabe are both voiced by American actor Matt Jones, who is perhaps best known for his role as Brandon "Badger" Mayhew in the television drama series Breaking Bad.
- Krug uses the same character model as Clint and Vincent, albeit with minor differences.
- Krug's character model is also used for many of the corpses found in Blue Line Station, and again as the security forces seen in the "Eviction Notice" quest.
