The Feltrite Sample is a quest item featured in RAGE. It is acquired during the quest "Feltrite Crater" when the mining machine is activated, giving the player a sample of Feltrite that the Shrouded Clan has been mining.
It is later taken to Antonin Kvasir to study in the quest "Feltrite Sample". After completing the quest "Defibrillator Upgrade", Kvasir will tell the player that the Bandits are trying to create an Explosive with the Feltrite, and then return the sample to give back to Clayton.
