"Chain Rally" is a competitive game type featured in the Multiplayer game mode Road Rage in RAGE. It involves driving over activated Capture Zones with blue lights emanating over them to capture as many Rally Points as many times in a row as possible in order to score points while engaging against up to three other players in Vehicle Combat on any of the several Road Rage maps.
The base time is 10 minutes, and the base score is 200. One Capture Zone will light up at the beginning of the game, and another will light up once the previous has been driven over. The goal of the player is to drive over these blue Capture Zones for as long as possible uninterrupted.
Strategy[]
When playing Chain Rally, speed and evasion is the best strategy for any player. Boost Restore is the best quick-use item to have equipped for speed, and focusing on routes heavy with Boost Recharge pick-ups is essential. While the Scout is not the strongest of vehicles in Road Rage, it is recommended here for its superior speed and maneuverability.
