Eastern Wasteland inside Rage 2...
After spending 153 hours beating Rage 2 and seeing the game %100 to the best of my ability, I have come to the conclusion that the Eastern Wasteland and Subwaytown are inside Rage 2. It has been accepted that this part of Rage 1 was missing from Rage 2. I think I have found enough proof that the Eastern Wasteland is inside Rage 2.
The main game of Rage 2 is the Northern Wasteland with Wellspring and the Southern Wasteland with Gunbarrel along with the surrounding new biomes. It seems that the Eastern Wasteland was missing from the main game map. If someone goes to the Island in the Rise of the Ghosts expansion pack, they see the Overgrown City. This is where the remaining Eastern Wasteland is located. This can be proven by comparing maps o…

Base Building
Hello everyone. I know the game once, but after seeing that the second release is yet to come, I finally decided to get the first one.
I really like the Bethesda games (except Fallout 76), especially the Fallout franchise. And one thing that really attracted me to this franchise was Fallout 4. Not just for the world, but mostly for "settlements manager." Of course there are many flaws, you would have to create a list and show why each error is an error in itself. Even some unfortunate mistakes in some cases, but that did not push me away from the game or anything.
One thing I would like to know about Rage 1 is this. Is it possible to build bases or at least is there a possibility that the player has his own place? Or who knows, being a leade…
RAGE 2 Will NOT Include Loot Boxes!
id Software boss Tim Willits has confirmed that RAGE 2 will NOT include loot boxes. This announcement comes in the aftermath of a storm of criticism leveled at full-priced games that included loot box elements, notably Battlefront II.
That said, RAGE 2 will feature some live-service elements, though Willits claims this new model will simply allow those who've completed the game to get some extra post-game fun.
In the wise words of Mr. Willits, “you buy the game and then you play it.”
We Need YOUR Help!
Hey there, FANDOM User! Welcome to the RAGE Wiki! It's great to have you.
As you can see, this Wiki is a lush, vibrant hub for all things you need to know about the original RAGE and its gameplay elements. If you need to know how to make the most badass Vehicle, we got you. If you want to go for the "Obsessive Compulsive" achievement, we got you. However, as we move into cultivating and expanding the Wiki to handle two games in this franchise, we need your help!
Yes, YOUR help! Any wiki is not the work of the admins, in particular, myself and Berserker, and considering the breadth and scope of the first RAGE, the second one will likely be even larger, and the Wiki will likely have to double in size and pages to meet this new game's demands. And…
RAGE 2 Officially Announced by Bethesda!
Hello, everyone!
I have returned from the depths of my slumber to announce that RAGE 2 is officially under development by developer Avalanche Studios!
While it's not the follow-up id Software has been hinting at, Bethesda, as it does with many of its properties, has revived the RAGE brand, seven years after the original game. Many gameplay elements will be returning, including the iconic Wingstick and Vehicle Combat, the latter of which being one of the main reasons the original RAGE stood out.
What do you think of the new trailer, dear reader? I'm back for good now, residing over this remarkable wiki. It's good to be here!
DOOM Released by Id Software!
On May 13, 2016, id Software and Bethesda Softworks released Doom for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Windows after nearly eight years in production. This is the first installment of the Doom franchise since Doom 3 in 2004. Much of Doom'sproduction cycle affected the development of both RAGE and RAGE 2 directly and significantly, with ZeniMax Media halting development on the latter presumably in retaliation for id's slowed work on Doom. Despite Doom's release, the status of RAGE is still unknown, however, especially seeing how John Carmack, one of the lead designers on RAGE, has departed from id.
The good news, however, is that Doom seems to have been quite well-received, despite Bethesda holding review copies until release day. Gadget 360's review praised Doom f…
Regarding the Status of the RAGE Wiki
Hello everyone out there.
I'm Nick, the de facto flag-bearer of the RAGE Wiki since early 2013. I think.
The RAGE Wiki has seen better days. Its highest point was in mid-to-late 2011 when RAGE was released for Xbox 360, PS3, and the PC. Since that time, the Wiki's community has steadily declined. It picked back up slightly when RAGE: The Scorchers came out in December of 2012, but other than that, our humble community dedicated to Id Software's most underrated title has steadied to nearly nothing. Keep in mind, The Scorchers came out three years ago. Three years the RAGE property has gone without ANY news or update. And that's sad.
Our game was met with a lot of unnecessary criticism from the start, about the ending, then about the lack of support fr…
Catching Up - Wiki Inactivity
Hey all! Nick here. Back from what has been nearly a year of inactivity that I simply can't excuse. Shame on me!
Anyways, for those of you who don't know me, I joined the wiki a few years ago under the name "AKtrollin" and have since changed to this incorrectly translated Latin name of mine that I can't change due to wiki regulations. In that time, I also became the head admin and bureaucrat for the wiki. It's a wonderful place, really, it's just a shame that it's been so down on its luck...
In my time on this wiki, I've seen many admins come and go and many more edits made and rolled back. Sadly, the wiki has fallen and it looks as if it will never rise again to its former glory. It's simply another sad tale of a wiki's subject losing inter…
RAGE: After Apophis - The Ghosts
THE STORY SO FAR:
John Elway and his brother Caleb are survivors of 99942 Apophis, a meteor which struck a nearly-fatal blow on Earth. John takes shelter in the Shrouded Bunker, along with several others. Tension in the bunker is heating up. John and a couple others begin a long trek into the Wasteland, in search for food and supplies.
CHAPTER 4: Out of the Frying Pan...
Cannibals. An entire pack of white savages, calling themselves "Ghosts". We could see their buggies coming down the road. Have they noticed us? I pulled out my pistol. We all made a run for a sewer hatch. We managed to get inside. The question is: is it safer in here?
Strange sounds surrounded us. We couldn't go back. Pistols ready, we began to make our way through the sewer.…
RAGE: After Apophis - The Dawn
RAGE: After Apophis is a fan fiction set in the world of RAGE. Set in the year 2029, the story is told through the eyes of John Elway, one of the first survivors of 99942 "Apophis". I plan on releasing a new issue every week, for at least the next month or so. In Issue #1: The Dawn, learn the origins of the "Shrouded Bunker". This is something I've wanted to do for a while now, and now that scripts finished, I can begin. Enjoy...
PROLOGUE:
My name is John Elway. Three days ago, I died, and went to hell. At least thats what I tell myself...
In truth, I am a survivor of "Apophis", a massive meteor which collided with Earth, whiping out civilization as I knew it. Now, Its just me and my brother Caleb. My Mom died in a car accident when I was ni…
Wiki Revival Project
We've seen something like this time and time again. As one bureaucrat of a wiki, this one being me, watches their certain wiki go down, they too take a little time off. Now, I see the RAGE Wiki has fallen on its knees and has about 20 edits per month. This has gotten unacceptable.
I am very rusty when it comes to editing. I haven't made any major edits on anything for a while and have forgotten how to do basic templates (Which will be easy for me to relearn, but I digress), so I need some help. Anybody and anybody visiting this wiki, edit a little bit. Make your presence known. Stay a while. We're in dire need of some new editors here, and if you like our beloved RAGE, make this wiki your home away from home. Sound good? Great.
Until next tim…
End of the Year Update
Happy New Year everyone! Well, it's not officially the New Year, but whatever. It's the Eve.
I bought RAGE for PC, so I'll be able to take more screenshots and such for the wiki, assuming I'm not busy with everything else. I'm actually looking forward to playing RAGE again. It's been a while.
There have been quite a few new editors this month. I haven't been paying much attention to Wikia in general (this month is normally the busiest of the year for me), so thanks to those guys. Your the remaining life force of the wiki until another RAGE based announcement comes out. I presume that won't be for a while.
Until next time, everyone. Hope you all had a happy holiday season.

Monthly Update - November 2013
Hey all, what's up. Time for another update.
Just wanna say I'm surprised by the number of people that are editing the wiki now. It's shocking, comparing it to the last three months. If you are thinking about editing here for a while, message me, I'd love to talk to you. I personally don't have enough interest in wikia anymore to constantly go through all the edits, but it would be nice to have someone here checking up on the place twice a day rather than my once (when I don't do anything).
We can all still agree that RAGE is dead, still, sadly. Perhaps that will change one day.
Guess I'll see you guys later. That's it for this month.

Monthly Update - October 2013
Well this is late.
Hi everybody, so there's practically nothing left to report on. The wiki's practically dead. I know it's a negative outlook, but it's been two years since RAGE was released and the audience it once had has moved on. It's a sad outlook, but perhaps once a possible sequel comes out we will be revived. I'll always be here, looking on as always. Message me if you need anything.

Monthly Update - September 2013
I can never remember to do these on time! Anyways...
This month has been quiet. The wiki is going to be slow, so don't expect much activity. I definitely won't be able to do much editing any time soon.
Sadly, I won't have time to constantly watch over the wiki, but I'm going to try. Also, there's nothing to really report on, so I'll talk to you guys later.

Monthly Update - August 2013
Hey everybody. Welcome to the August 2013 update for the RAGE Wiki.
This month, I couldn't keep that close of an eye on the wiki, but it looks like we have a steady flow of edits on some days, while on others we didn't have much. Seems to be the typical wiki behavior for now and probably for the next few months.
Also, I don't own RAGE anymore since I replaced my consoles with a PC. RAGE is on my list of games to purchase, though. We'll see what happens.
Anyway, there isn't much to report on right now. I'll see you guys later!
Awesome pic to end the blog for no good reason....

Monthly Update - July 2013
Hey all. Welcome to July's RAGE Wiki update.
This month we (I) actually got something accomplished! I made half of the Achievement articles for The Scorchers DLC. 5 more to go! Some are Fired Up!, Night Terrors, Thrash Canyon. I also worked on the Territories a little; work is needed everywhere, you know!
If you read this, add what you can to the wiki. We could really use all the help we can get. We had an improvement of editing over last month, but not by much. Everyone, pitch in!
That's all for now. Happy editing!

Monthly Update - June 2013
Hey everyone. Nick here. I just wanna say that with RAGE getting left in the dust, there really is no reason to update the wiki any longer. BUUUT considering how stubborn I am, I'm still gonna be here no matter what even after the next gen consoles come out.
I think the month of June has had record low edits since the wiki's founding. I don't blame it, considering just how "abandoned" RAGE has been, sadly.
That's all for this month. See you guys soon!
--The Lone Editor 20:02, July 1, 2013 (UTC)
Excuse the lack of Update
Hello, All. I honestly didn't feel enough had happened in May to write a full-fledged update. Sorry guys. I might not have one for June either, but just know everything's fine right now! See ya later.

Apocalyptic games discussion with Fallout's Chris Avellone
Hey Rage fans!
We recently sat down for a chat with game designer/writer Chris Avellone, and talked about the specifics of making a game set in a post-apocalyptic world. Well known for his work on Fallout 2, Fallout: New Vegas, Knights of the Old Republic II , and Baldur's Gate among many others, he's an authority on what it takes to make a wasteland both scary and appealing. We cover a wide range of games during the discussion, including the Rage series, so make sure to check out our Expert Showcase discussion with him below!
Monthly Update - April 2013
April showers bring Mayflowers....this joke is old. Let's move on to the update.
This month we saw mostly minor edits in the way of editing, usually just minor grammar fixes and vandal reverts. Nothing special I might do something in the way of the achievement articles, but who knows!
Also, one of our old bureaucrats, Kryon78 showed up for a small return, but I doubt anyone even noticed him besides me. Keep him in your prayers (please understand that I'm Christian, any Atheists that may read this) as he is still going through a rough time.
That's it for now. See you guys later.

RAGE 2 Cancelled
Its official, RAGE 2 isn't gonna happen. Up until about a month ago, RAGE 2 was still possible. It is unknown if anything was ever planned, but after recent events, the chance of a sequel to RAGE is very, VERY, unlikely.
The last DOOM game (DOOM 3) was released back in 2005. The game was very popular and fans began to demand a sequel. Now, eight years later, Zenimax (The owner of Id) has decided to take matters into their own hands. They have decided to cancel RAGE 2 to speed up production on the long awaited DOOM 4. All plans (if any) related to RAGE 2 have been scraped.
Until further notice, RAGE 2 is cancelled. Would you rather have RAGE 2 or DOOM 4? When will DOOM 4 be released? Why does Id insist on capitalizing all their products? All…
Zenimax Cancels RAGE 2
Zenimax, due to id Software's poor performance in progress on DOOM 4, has required that id increase the pace and finish the game and release it within the next year. They also decided to cancel RAGE 2 due to poor performance from id and the "lacking" sales of 2.3 MILLION.
2.3 million copies sold is nothing to sneeze at. ZeniMax Media is another company to add to the top of my bitch list...
Monthly Update - March 2013
This Monthly Update is brought to you by id Software who confirmed RAGE 2 yesterday (April fools... :))!
So, this month I went through a few emotional problems but nothing that should be said in this blog, so I wasn't that active. Two new user were given the rollback ability though: Prestonmarlowe94 and AmetureRhytms. They have been good to the wiki and deserve the promotion. What this means is they can now revert edits not made in good faith.
No real editing needs for us right now. Until RAGE 2 is announced, not much still needs to be made. I'm sure we can find something, though.
That's it for this week, guys. Have a good April (and remember to do your taxes).
Redstones Quests
As you read in the Headline I need a list of Redstones quests because at the moment I'm too busy to play the game again.
Thanks in advance

Monthly Update - February 2013
Hey guys, time for the monthly update.
Okay, so this month we saw some new editors. Woohoo. Apollo and Mattia are great guys and great contributors. Welcome to the wiki, guys. They have done a number of things, such as make a character list, add images to the wiki, and write fan-fiction.
Guys, this month I'm gonna go through some serious transition in my life, so please don't expect me to edit much, at least not for the first two weeks of March. Things just aren't gonna go my way, unless the good Lord provides. I hope. :)
Sorry for the religion, but it adds an element onto what I'm about to go through. No news for DLC...oh well, we have this.

RAGE 2 - Part III
Hey Guys! AR here with the third and final part in the RAGE 2 miniseries.
After escaping the Satelite Plant, Subject E slowly makes his way back to Ilulissat. While traveling through the Wasteland, he notices a strange light in the distance. Its not common to see any sort of man-made light in the Wasteland, mostly due to the weather and threat of alerting any kind of animal. After approaching the light, the light appears to be a fire. Subject E is both suspicious and greatful. He slowly approaches the camp hoping for some heat. Upon closer inspection, the camp turns out to be empty. Subject E quickly makes himself at home and slowly falls asleep. After a few hours, Subject E begins to hear some sounds. He decides to check it out before goin…
RAGE 2 - Part II
Hey Guys! AR here with Part 2 of my RAGE 2 episodes.
After receiving his reward, Subject E decides to continue on his journey. The townspeople of Nuuk guide Subject E to a nearby town called Ilulissat, a megacity that thrives due to the leadership of Edward Grey. Illulissat consists of a Job Board, minigames, and races. After facing several challenges, Subject E reaches the town only to be welcomed by Edward and invited to The Great Chamber. Here, Subject E is filled in on all the Authoritys plans to use nanotrites to create supersoldiers. As it turns out, Subject E is simply a prototype of of the CET (Combat Enhanced Trooper) created to fulfil the Authoritys desires. Edward then reveals his involvement in the New Resistance. After the even…
RAGE 2
Hey guys! AR here with what I would like to see in RAGE 2, should it ever be released. I've thought about what would be cool for a while now, and I wanna share my ideas with you guys. Lets get to it..
The game would be set roughly one hundred years after RAGE in Greenland, North America. You take control of "Subject E", an android created by the Authority. Subject E was created along with four others for the purpose of nanotrite testing. Previous attempts by the authority to inject nanotrites into humans were failures, and only resulted in mutants. This however, was not the case with Subject E. After soo many years, the Authority's patience was running thin. With all the materials being wasted on nanotrite testing, the Authority decided to c…

RAGE DLC Review - The Scorchers
Greetings! AR here with my WAY overdue review of the second RAGE DLC. Lets go ahead and begin..
STORYLINE In The Scorchers, you once again reprise the role of Nicholas Raine, a survivor of Apophis (the meteor that brought humanity to the edge of extinction). This time, Raine is on a quest to quell the plans of the Scorchers, an insane group of bandits who have recently migrated to the Wasteland. The 4-5 hour campaign will take you to several new locations, all of which are integrated into previously locked sections of the Wasteland. In addition to the Scorchers, you will also be introduced (and re-introduced) to a cast of characters. Among these ruffians is Sarah Hagar, who serves as your partner in The Scorchers. Other than Sarah, none of the …
RAGE DLC Review - Wasteland Sewer Missions
Greetings! AR here with my WAY overdue review of the first RAGE DLC. Lets go ahead and begin..
STORYLINE If you enjoyed RAGE for its storyline, then imagine everything remotely good about the campaigns story being scraped. Thats basically what you get with the Wasteland Sewer Missions. The only purpose for the trials you endure are small, insignificant rewards. With a silent protagonist and practically no social interaction, you can imagine why the storyline gets 2/10.
GAMEPLAY The highpoint of this DLC is its gameplay. Gameplay in this DLC is no different from the actual game, so dont sweat it. The games mechanics work well and there are very little bugs if any. If your looking for a challenge, then you may want to look elsewhere. For the Be…
Walkthrough for Scorchers?
I've run out of things to do so Im concidering uploading a walkthrough for RAGE's two DLC's Wasteland Sewer Missions and Scorchers. What do you think? It will be a wonder if I get past 25 views though..
Greetings!
Im AR and have reccently joined the RAGE wiki. I quickly noticed that there arent many users on this wiki (at least not many that actually do anything) so I've begun to share the RAGE wiki around the web. RAGE is a huge game and needs a huge fan base!
Monthly Update - January 2013
Well damn, looks like I forgot to do this when I was supposed to. Better late than never, right?
This month has been f****** terrible for me and amazing for me. Simple as that. I'm not going to get into personal details, but here we are. I am now a bureaucrat, but at the cost of our good friend of 15 months - Vlad (User:Kryon78). I'm gonna miss our Russian friend. Come to me if you have any troubles from now on because I am now the only active admin anymore. Kinda sucks, considering I don't have the emotional capacity to do this right now, but I'll try my best!
We. Need. Screenshots. If you can, we need images of new Achievement logos. That is the only thing I can't do myself.
Thanks, --The Lone Editor 19:52, February 9, 2013 (UTC)
"Wikia Alliances"

UPD: Just signed us up for Sci-Fi Galaxy.
A Sad Day for the RAGE Wiki
Everyone, today is a sad day for the RAGE Wiki.
Our beloved bureaucrat, my friend and teacher when it comes to Wikia, Kryon78 or Vlad has signed off the RAGE Wiki most likely for good. I have been given the assignment of bureaucrat. I will try my best to do what's right for the wiki, but remember that I can only do so much. Any complaints, problems, or questions should go through me. Thank you, and have a good day. Keep Vlad in your prayers. If you're not Christian, disregard that last sentence.

One Year for Me
Well, a few days ago I reached a year on the RAGE Wiki. I'm glad I've been able to see the growth and the shrinking of the wiki, with all the ups and downs and everything else. Thanks, guys!

The Scorchers DLC - My Review
Ok, we have been bitching and complaining for over a year for new DLC and now we have it in the form of The Scorchers. The question is, though, is it worth our complaining? The answer, is yes. It definitely is.
Id Software has obviously done a good job of creating six beautiful new environments with Id Tech 5, including The Refinery and the Hagar Caves. Also, the Scorchers look odd enough and sound menacing enough to be a powerful force. Also, Sarah is pretty nice on the eyes. :D
The Nail Gun is a powerful and satisfying weapon, especially with the Rebar Shot ammo. The Scorchers are also a nice mix of the Wasted Clan and the Shrouded Clan. The environments and new Minigames are also fun to play in and maneuver in, just like playing through the…
Problems with The Scorchers DLC
First off, I would like to clarify that The Scorchers isn't available in Africa, Asia, or South America. Second, we need a perfectionist to clarify that there are not any new Collector Cards or anything like that. Alright? Thanks.

Update - End of the Year
Well, Rage Wiki editors, here we stand at the end of the year. We have had a great year on the wiki, with many different promotions, different projects, and the slow adding of all The Scorchers content.
In January, I joined the wiki. Vlad or Kryon78 became a bureaucrat. many people left the wiki.
In February, I started my long series of Weekly updates (that nobody read!) and Vlad completed the failed "decap" project.
In March we had many edits and I'm pretty sure I was given rollback rights.
In April, I became an admin!
In May, I started the regular Monthly updates. Far more successful that How We Can Improve the Rage Wiki.
In June, we began the summer? I think I also started with the Vehicle item project.
In July, we made many edits.
In August, I ma…
Monthly Update - November 2012
Holy Shit people. http://www.ps3trophies.org/game/rage/trophies 11 new trophies. Believable trophies. New DLC. Holy shit. Could this be real? I have no idea, but hell, it is definitly enlightening. Maybe Mr. Willits wasn't lying when he said, "We haven't abandoned RAGE." This is big, BIG news if this is true. It is a rather vague source, but holy damn is this unexpected. I sat here waiting for RAGE 2 and all of the sudden I read a comment on my last blog from "A Wikia Contributer", go to the site lined, thinking it is a troll of course, and my mind gets blown. It is a vague source, but you can't blame me for hoping.
We didn't get anything in terms of editing done in the past month, but who cares? ^^ With this news, I think we can all have hop…
Monthly Update - October 2012
This update is brought to you by Jani's Supplies! If she doesn't have it, you don't need it! On with the update.
This month...well...we didn't really get any editing done. Much inactivity. I did begin a project though:the Vehicle ammunition. This one I will probably be taking on at a much slower rate than before. Also, Kryon or Vlad has decided that he will be doing the little odds and ends of RAGE, such as the Proof of Bandit Kill item. I suppose we needed these.
That's all for now. Let us try to improve upon last month. More editing, more progress, more satisfaction.
Happy RAGEing!

My Characters Story Wiki
Hello, everyone. Mr. Trollin here. I have an old wiki of which I am at bureaucrat status known as the My Characters Story Wiki. It is basically a wiki where fans of the Fallout series can post a detailed (or not detailed if you're lazy) article about their Fallout 3 or Fallout: New Vegas avatar.
Since I completely understand that this wiki's editors are at least 70% Fallout fans, I ask if you could go on the wiki and add your article and maybe vote on the front page poll to decide what the next game added to the wiki should be. Thanks!

Monthly Update - September 2012
This update is brought to you by the Wellspring Speedway! Damn it, they don't have a catch phrase. On with the update.
This month, I finally got the Vehicle upgrades articles completed, mostly. The Vehicle upgrade page itself is still missing quite a lot of content. Also, Borderlands 2 came out. No wonder the wiki has been so inactive.
We saw one new editor begin to edit on our wiki this month: Hectal257. Not much activity this month, but I can see and understand why. I bet we are all already level 50 on Borderlands. :D
That is all for this month. No news on Rage 2, sadly. Everyone, let us work to make the wiki great. Also, I have a question for you. What do you think a great DLC for RAGE could have been?

Monthly Update - August 2012
This Monthly Update is brought to you by Dahl! Wait a minute...this isn't Borderlands! Onto the August Update.
This month we saw great progress on the wiki. Vlad, or Kryon78, finished the Recap project just hours ago (if you do not know what that is, it is changing things like Beer bottles to Beer Bottles). I finally reached almost completion on the Vehicle upgrades project (I need to get to it, this is taking too long!). To see how the last few pages turned and will turn out, consult the Themes page.
We saw a few new editors, such as Tsquip and Brumbek. I hope they stay to edit, but obviously they do not have to.
Well, as mentioned above, Borderlands 2 is coming out. I think a few of us are going to be very...umm..."inactive" in the next month…
